This was a story about a ventriloquist's dummy who was bad. At times it was a bit scary but it was a really good book.

Daniel read this himself. He said it really freaked him out - but in a good way! He liked it when Slappy came to life as it made him jump. Daniel would recommend this to people who like scares.

This Goosbumps book is first in the series of horrorland and can be very funny and obviously scary - they're goosebumps books. The best Goosebumps book that I've ever read, and also the first. I still read goosebumps books, and I've even watched the movie. Recommended 10+.

As a kid I was obsessed with the Goosebumps series and this was one of my favourites about a living dummy named Slappy. Very funny, with a hint of scary just enough for the age range

Great Book Although Quite Scary Very Interesting And When You Read The First Few Pages They Want To Make You Read More And So That's Exactly What You do. Also, It Has Good Punctuation Like The Sentences Were Not Too Long. I Would Recommend It To 8 - 15-Year-Olds.
