This book tells the story of the birth of Jesus from the angel's visit to Mary to the flight to Egypt. It is very simple and straightforwardly faithful to the Bible accounts in Matthew and Luke. Charming fresh and detailed illustrations by Sophie Allsop show endearing characters and are respectful of the great story. With a padded cover and foil effect on the cover, this is a beautiful but very accessible presentation of the familiar Nativity story just calling to be picked up.
