When a tiny firework bursts into tears at the prospect of spiralling
through the dark, her friends come up with a succession of ideas to
encourage her to fly.
At the outset, they offer to stay by her side, but Freya is afraid she
might lose them.
Undeterred, they promise to shine brightly in the darkness so that
Freya knows where they are. However, she hides her eyes when
she’s frightened, and this plan is rejected.
The persistent fireworks finally suggest making lots of noise when
they’re up in the air, so even if Freya can’t see them, she’ll hear
them.
Happy with this idea, Freya is able to find the courage she needs
to leap into the night sky.
