First published in 1985 (reissuing the second edition of 1990 here), Teaching Craft, Design and Technology provides both specialist and non-specialist teachers with the support and practical guidance necessary to teach and assess Craft, Design and Technology (CDT) throughout the early and middle years. The book offers advice on establishing appropriate aims and objectives for different age groups, planning effective lessons to achieve these goals, and conducting assessment and evaluation of student progress. It explores problem-solving activities and the development of technological skills and awareness, while examining the cross-curricular potential of this approach in CDT. The book also features guidance on organizing resources and making effective use of the working environment.
