This is a series of 26 early reading books for children who are starting on the road to reading. The series features fun, modern characters and colourful graphics. Each of these simple books covers a letter of the alphabet, for children who are not yet reading ("prereaders") or who have just started reading on their own. Each book features a four page illustrated rhyme, centred around some rather eccentric and wacky characters. Each rhyme focuses on a letter of the alphabet. This is great for children who are learning to differentiate the different letter sounds. Each book also includes some objects beginning with that letter, and phonics based activities as well as helpful notes for grown-ups on how to make the most of the books. These colourful books are ideal for reading aloud to children who are not yet reading themselves, as well as for helping children recognise letters and letter sounds.
This is Book 17 in the Alphabet Friends Series. See all Alphabet Friends books here.
