Activities and instructions in the students' book are used in tandem with templates and resources on the CD-ROM. Exercises cover ICT skills and subject themes specified in the National Curriculum and Schemes of Work. Simple point-and-click operation and extensive teacher's notes on the CD-ROM make the exercises easy to access and easy to use. Data, text and images from the CD-ROM can be transferred onto the school network or individual computers, thereby allowing whole class teaching or small group work using the exercises and instructions from the textbook. The ICT exercises are designed to use standard Office software including Word, Excel, Paint, PowerPoint, Publisher and the Internet.
