The plot
Sir Charles Baskerville is dead. People say he died of a heart attack, but Dr. Mortimer saw something terrible near the body – the footprints of a gigantic hound.
The Baskerville family has an ancient curse. For hundreds of years, a deadly hound has hunted and killed the Baskervilles on the dark moors of Devonshire.
Now Sir Henry, the last Baskerville, has arrived from America to claim his inheritance. Is he in danger too? Holmes sends Watson to protect him at Baskerville Hall.
But on the foggy moor, Watson hears a terrifying sound – the howl of an enormous hound. Is the curse real? Or is someone using the legend to commit murder?
