History comes to life in Chapters from Medieval History which covers a broad array of topics from from the fall of Rome in 476 CE to the beginning of the Renaissance in the 14th century.
Areas covered include the Iberian and Arabian peninsulas, the Crusades, the Hostelers and Templars, Francis of Assisi, Joan of Arc, and the Hundred Years War between England and France.
A master storyteller, Dorothy Harrer covers these landmark points in history simply and thoroughly in her compelling style. This classic text will be a useful resource for teachers and parents sharing history with pupils from Class 6 (11 years) and beyond into the Upper School in the Steiner-Waldorf curriculum.
