the Signing Friends - a series focused on helping you and your child learn
Makaton through story books. Produced in association with the Makaton
Charity.Each
book features colourful and inclusive illustrations alongside stories that
utilise vocabulary from the Makaton Communication Programme. Inside you'll
find a QR code which will take you to a bespoke video demonstrating how to sign
the text so that you can in turn read and enjoy the book with your child/ren. Please
note Makaton signs and symbols are not featured in the book. There will be
supporting resources available for each title. Zack loves
minibeasts. Join him and his Grandad as they explore the garden looking for
lots of creepy-crawlies. Zack finds spiders, caterpillars, snails, slugs and
much more! The story includes signs for prepositions so now you'll be able to
go and look in, on and under things in YOUR garden to see what creatures you
can find!
