the Signing Friends - a series focused on helping you and your child learn
Makaton through story books. Produced in association with the Makaton
Charity.Each
book features colourful and inclusive illustrations alongside stories that
utilise vocabulary from the Makaton Communication Programme. Inside you'll
find a QR code which will take you to a bespoke video demonstrating how to sign
the text so that you can in turn read and enjoy the book with your child/ren. Please
note Makaton signs and symbols are not featured in the book. There will be
supporting resources available for each title. Learn how to
fingerspell from A-Z with Lola and Jack. This activity book features an
illustrated concept for each letter of the alphabet including favourites such
as dolphin, fox, meercat, unicorn and many more!As with every
book in the Signing Friends range, Lola and Jack's Animal A-B-C includes a QR code
inside the front cover taking you to an instructional Makaton-signed video to
help you pre-learn the signs contained in the book.
