An orphaned boy lives a lonely life in a care home, forgotten by any remaining relatives. Until, on his fifteenth birthday, a mysterious uncle brings him a bizarre present… the Dark Unicorn.
Invisible to all but its master, the Dark Unicorn will remain at the boy’s side. He has one Duty…each day, the unicorn must be fed a human victim.
Now homeless, the boy drifts from place to place, selecting prey for his charge. Over time, his choices of victims change as the boy discovers more about life, humanity and himself. Will the unicorn be his doom… or his salvation?
