This is a 12 week school readiness programme designed for Grade 1 learners when entering the Foundation Phase. Although it is fairly structured, it can be adapted to different needs. It comprises a Teacher's Resource Book and a Workbook which are based on sound psychological and educational principles. They fully integrate the basic learning skills, prepare and guide the teacher and have been designed for practical and easy use in the classroom. The emphasis is on the child's total development and it aims to enhance and stimulate physical, communicative, cognitive and learning abilities. School beginners and disadvantaged children have also been considered.
