Once upon a time that was a little girl named Amelia, who loved the skies. Her biggest dream was to touch the clouds but people said that her dream was impossible.
Amelia didn’t listen to them. She worked hard to become an aviator. And she succeeded! Not only did she become an aviator, but Amelia was actually the first woman to ever fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.
She embarked on amazing adventures with her beloved plane, which she named The Yellow Canary.
Amelia and her plane went on many adventures, so many that she later decided to open an organization only for women who wanted to become aviators, like her! She named it the 99’s and she was its first president. She even designed the uniforms!
Amelia is a reminder that anything is possible when you believe in yourself!
