It introduces non-fiction to infant children, focusing on the development of the information retrieval and handling skills they need. The teacher's text supports the first 18 titles in the series, in Units A, B and C. Its contents include background to the series, teaching strategies, notes on managing the series, ideas and exercises. There is also a range of photocopiable resources and activities.
