Brian Wildsmith is a much f ted and honoured artist in Japan. Out of this has come a very special partnership with Princess Takamado of the Japanese Imperial Family. For him she has created the fabulous creature, the Baku, which looks after young children at night and eats up all their bad dreams. In this superbly illustrated picture book a baby Baku loses his way from the world of dreams and is befriended by Polly. This changes Polly's life, but at last she has to let the Baku go back to his own world, on the other side of her dreams. This book is intended for interest age: 4+
