Our Favourite Kids Books for Pride

Our Favourite Kids Books for Pride

June is officially the month of PRIDE! Grab your rainbow flags and get ready for a true celebration!

Every year we commemorate those who protested and fought for LGBTQ+ rights and celebrate the wonderful LGBTQ+ community of today. Whether you're part of the community, identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning, intersex, non-binary, asexual, polysexual, genderqueer, and gender variant, or simply a cis ally, there is space for everyone to celebrate

We believe inclusion, empathy and a sense of community can be developed from early childhood. And so of course we have a full list of amazingly inclusive books that will be the perfect read for this year's Pride! From illustrated board books and picture books all the way up to YA and older non-fiction, there's a book for every reader featuring LGBTQ+ main characters, or teaching about the history of Pride.

It's a celebration!
