As Quiet as a Mouse
Author: Karen Owen Illustrator: Evgenia Golubeva
It's a very nice little story. Big brother is making too much noise and has to learn to be quiet. He goes to school and passes the test to be quiet as a mouse, only for everybody else to be really noisy and they wake the baby up.

Everyone Loves Underpants: A World Book Day Book
Author: Claire Freedman Illustrator: Ben Cort
Really nice book, wonderful to see new characters and what they do with the underpants. Both my girls found the pictures both funny and engaging. The story was planned in a logical way which came together nicely at the end. Definitely want to read again.

Love, Splat Mini HB
Author: Rob Scotton
really loved the cute kitten in the book, the story is simple to understand. I liked it that you felt sorry for the kitten when another is showing off, but the kitten gets the cream in the end.
we all loved Splat, and the way he gave up, wad very sad. But, one happy kitten at the end.

The Little Book of Garden Bird Songs
Authors: Andrea Pinnington , Caz Buckingham
This is a really nice little hardback book. The bird songs are really accurate, and because of this my 3 year old daughter really likes it. The pictures are really good, and you can see all the details of the birds. I like the pictures because they are not photographs, which I think makes it more interesting for my daughter. Since reading the book, my daughter has become more aware of bird sounds, and tries to identify the bird from her book.

Monster Max's Shark Spaghetti
Author: Claire Freedman Illustrator: Sue Hendra
Another fab book from this duo. It follows on from Spider Sandwiches, which see's Max go on another disgusting (but not for Max) food adventure. A must read for all young fans of Claire and Sue.
