Interstellar Cinderella
Author: Deborah Underwood
I have such mixed feelings about this book!  The pictures are fab and the story and rhymes are brilliant BUT on 2 occasions it completely jumps with very little explanation!  It’s a fun, modern take on a well known story and a refreshing change to fairytales where the heroine ends of marrying a prince she barely knows.  It’s not perfect but it is enjoyable.

Goodnight, Bing: Touch-and-feel book
This is a lovely book for bedtime.  It’s interactive and engaging with lovely bright pictures.  My only criticism is that th touch and feel bits aren’t than interesting!  Hoppity isn’t as soft as he should be and the moon and stars isn’t particularly defined.  Other than that it is lovely though.

That's Not My Reindeer
Author: Fiona Watt Illustrator: Rachel Wells
Another lovely book in the series.  Interactive and fun, both kids have loved it. We’ve had it for 5 years now and we still enjoy it at Christmassc

Jingle Spells
Author: James Brown
Both Martha and I enjoyed this book.  It’s a simple but lovely story with gorgeous illustrations - quite traditional compared to some books but that’s not a bad thing!  Martha got very excited about the story, Father Christmas and the witch.  It is a bit ‘naughty list nice list’ so if that’s not your cup of tea then maybe avoid but we really did enjoy it.  Lovely, different and modern book.

Charlie and Lola: My Completely Best Story Collection
Beautiful book with lovely stories.  I particularly like the size of this book and the fact it comes with stickers.  Highly recommended for any C&L fan although, as with any book which isn’t a board book, the pages do get a bit dog eared when you have a 2 yr old looking at it!
