The Very Greedy Bee
Authors: Steve Smallman , Jack Tickle
This is a sweet story about how it is important to share and help your friends. My little boy loves the bright, vibrant pictures, and the simple storyline.
He was also really interested in the rescue operation to save the greedy bee!

Father Christmas Sparkly Touchy-Feely
Author: Fiona Watt
I bought this book for my daughter several years ago, and we get it out every Christmas. Even at 8, she still likes it, and my son is now 4 and loves looking at it in the build-up to Christmas too. The version I have is a big, chunky hardback book, and throughout there are different textures and materials used to add interest to the pages. There are shiny presents, and best of all you can stroke Santa's fluffy beard!
Both my children love this book. The story is simple but fun, and the pages have lovely illustrations with a lot to look at and explore. It's the perfect festive book for young children!

Kipper's Visitor: World Book Day 2016
Author: Mick Inkpen
It's impossible not to love Kipper - a very cute and inquisitive dog, with lots of equally cute and funny friends. In this very short story, that was published especially for World Book Day, Kipper has an unexpected visitor - a little gosling who, my son was quick to point out, "has a very muddy bum!". So Kipper does what any good friend would do and gives him a bath.
It's a very quick read, but super-cute and has all the trademarks of a usual Kipper book - lovely little pictures and sweet characters.

The Very Messy Monkey
Author: Jack Tickle
We were given the pop-up version of this book as a gift, and my son loves it! It is simple to read, with short rhymes on each page, but the best thing about the book are the amazing pop-up animals on each page! They are very impressive and my son can look at them for ages.
This is a great book for young readers!
