Book pages Toby and the Ice Giants
Toby and the Ice Giants
I read it to MicahW aged 6 & to AvaW aged 1
Toby the bison lived in the Ice Age tundra, and he decides to go and meet the ice giants, so we join him on his adventure where he meets some of the giants that lived on the planet.  My 2 year old and 6 year old enjoyed this book. The illustrations were brilliant, but we loved the fact that there was a little story where we followed Toby's adventure, which my daughter enjoyed, but there was also facts on each page about the different animals that lived many years ago, which my 6 year old loved. We learned lots of new things, we learned about animals we didn't know about. There was danger, adventure, and lots of facts to digest; an interesting read. A great book for the whole family.

Book pages Peppa Pig: Stomp and Roar!
Peppa Pig: Stomp and Roar!
I read it to AvaW aged 1
Great interactive book for little ones. Read about Peppa, George and their friends on the adventure they have at the dinosaur park. There are 5 sound buttons that bring the story to life. My daughter loves getting involved and pressing the buttons to make the sounds, keeps her entertained. The thick pages are great for little hands, the sounds are quite loud, but all Peppa pig fans will love this book

Book pages Dixie O'Day: Up, Up and Away!
Dixie O'Day: Up, Up and Away!
MicahW read it aged 6
This is a fun action packed book, for both girls or boys. I have just turned 6 and could read it all on my own.  Dixie and his friends have an adventure in the clouds in a hot air balloon, but things aren't plain sailing. I loved the adventure, the characters were likeable, and I wanted to keep reading it to find out what would happen next. It was an easy read, easy to follow, there were bits that made me laugh and I liked the illustrations on each page.

Book pages Hide-and-Seek Pig
Hide-and-Seek Pig
I read it to AvaW aged 1
This is a lovely lift the flap book. Pig and hen are playing hide and seek. Hen is hiding, pig is looking for her and comes across a few different animals when looking for hen. The child lifts the flap to reveal different animals, so teaches them about animals whilst reading. It is a nice rhyming book, and it's not too long, as it's aimed at young ones. There are similar books like this one you can also buy; postman bear, fox's socks and rabbits nap.

Book pages Bing: Paint Day
Bing: Paint Day
I read it to AvaW aged 2
I loved looking at this book, and reading it with mommy. I have seen Bing before on the tv so it was familiar. I love painting, so as it was all about painting it was very enjoyable. I have been trying to remember my colours, so this book really helped as it was exploring all the different colours. It's very simple and not too long, so it's great for children my age (2years old). At the back of the book it has all the different colours which is nice.

Book pages My Presents
My Presents
I read it to AvaW aged 2
A lift the flab book. Lift the flaps to open the presents and see what they are, and save the best one for last. My daughter loves the lift the flap books by rod Campbell so knew this one would be a hit. She would tell me what was under each present. We gave it to her on her birthday, so it was nice as it tied in with her special days. Simple, short and sweet, perfect for toddlers
