Book pages Boy in Heels
Boy in Heels
MicahW read it aged 5
I weren't sure from the title whether I would like this, but I actually really enjoyed it. It is a fun, gripping story and Im sure all kids would love it. It got me thinking about what it would be like if I were a spy. I kept wanting to read it, to see if joe and SAMs mission would be completed, and the spy gadgets are cool.

Book pages I Love My Daddy Board Book
I Love My Daddy Board Book
I read it to MicahW aged 5 & to AvaW aged 1
My son has lovely this book since he was around 3. It's a lovely book, about the kinds of things a dad gets up to with his son. It's down to earth, sweet, pictures are good and it's a rhyming text. My son relates to the book, and he loves reading it with his dad. It's a nice story,  not too long, and you can get the I love Mommy book as well

Book pages My First Nursery Rhyme Treasury
My First Nursery Rhyme Treasury
I read it to AvaW aged 1
This is a nice little nursery rhyme book. There are 4 different popular nursery rhymes; this old man, there blind mice, hey diddle diddle and humpy dumpty. Each page has the words of the nursery rhyme, and then for each nursery rhyme there is a button that plays the song. So you can read the nursery rhyme or sing along to it.

Book pages The Smartest Giant in Town
The Smartest Giant in Town
MicahW read it aged 5
I knew I would like this book, as I have a lot of Julia donaldson books and I enjoy them. It's a nice story about George the giant who gets some new clothes, but because he is kind and friendly he ends up giving away his clothes to different animals that need them. The pictures in the book are great and the rhymes are fun. It shows you how you can be kind and share with others which is good.

Book pages Superkid
Superkid
MicahW read it aged 5
I like this book as it's about a boy who you think is normal, but he's actually a superhero and I like superheroes. I think boys will like this book best, but girls will like it as well. It's a nice story as super kid helps out other kids in trouble. He saves them from bullies and eats the horrible food that they don't like for them. It's fun to read as it's a rhyming story, and when I'd finished reading it it made me imagine what it would be like if I was a secret superhero.

Book pages Alphablock
Alphablock
I read it to MicahW aged 5 & to AvaW aged 1
This is a lovely alphabet book for children. I read it with my 1year old and 5year old who both enjoyed it. I loved how each letter was cut out from the page, then you lift the letter to reveal what is being it beginning with that letter. My 1year old enjoyed lifting the letters to reveal what was behind and my 5year old enjoyed guessing what the object would be, and naming other things beginning with that letter. The illustrations are great. I liked that it was different to other alphabet books, as my children have a few and this one is unique and most alphabet books tend to use the same things for the letters, like a for apple and b for ball, where as this used other ones which was nice and made a change.
