Book pages The Good Little Devil and Other Tales
The Good Little Devil and Other Tales
I read it to MicahW aged 5
This is a lovely book, with 13 different stories in. It is very funny, silly and magical. There is a devil that is good, shoes that fall in love, naughty pigs, wicked witches and greedy kings. It really gets the imagination going.  The only thing we found, was because they were translated from French, there were a few misinterpretations. The illustrations are playful, so goes well with the stories and book as a whole.  overall a lovely book with great, fun stories for children to enjoy.

Book pages Monster
Monster
I read it to AvaW aged 1
I read this to my 20month old daughter all the time, she has loved it from when she was younger and it never gets old. The book is quite short, which is suitable for the age group, from 6months plus.  It's about a noisy monster playing with his friends. There is a squeaky puppet in the middle of the book that you put your hand in and it squeaks. My daughter thinks this is very funny, it keeps her entertained,

Book pages The Perfect Baby
The Perfect Baby
MicahW read it aged 5
We got this for my son when he was 3 and we were having another baby. He is 5 now and still reads it. I think it's a great book for a child expecting a new sibling, and it is funny. Lucy's parents come home with a new baby William. His big sister Lucy doesn't like him very much, as he just cries and poos, so she takes him back to the hospital to swap him. She gets given different baby animals which she doesn't like and keeps taking back to swap. In the end she comes to the conclusion that baby William wasn't that bad so she gets him from the hospital to keep.

Book pages I Want My Hat Back
I Want My Hat Back
I read it to MicahW aged 5 & to AvaW aged 1
A bear sets goes out to find his missing hat. he asks all the animals he meets if any of them have seen his hat. They all say no, but one of them is not telling the truth. Great illustrations and understated humor. It appeals more to the older kids, 5 plus, as they get the concept of one of the animals lying about the hat and they can use the clues to try work out which animal is lying.

Book pages Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site
Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site
I read it to AvaW aged 1
i was looking forward to reading this when I knew it was about diggers and the construction site, as boys like this sort of thing. I really enjoyed the book and loved looking at the pictures which were great. It was a rhyming story as well, which was good, and I enjoyed picking out the rhyming words with my mom. It's a nice book to read before bedtime, but I would read it anytime. My little sister who is 1 enjoyed it as well.

Book pages Spot Goes on Holiday
Spot Goes on Holiday
I read it to AvaW aged 1
My daughter who is 21 months old loves this lift the flap book. This one is about when spot goes to the beach, and the fun things he does. It's not too long, so keeps the listen ones attention, and I find the younger ones loving lifting the flaps and seeing what's underneath. It's a fun book, easy to read and my daughter can't get enough of it
