Eldest brought this home from nursery. A book about a monster who wants to be every name other than sweet. He goes from being scary to stinky to slimy and then to sweet when he meets an ogre so he doesnt get eaten. Great book lovely pictures and catchy story line to keep them interested

Pilot Jane and the Runaway Plane
Author: Caroline Baxter Illustrator: Izabela Ciesinska
Really suprised how much my 4 year old loved this week. Loved the planes and hearing about Janes adventures. Great to extend the questions about days of the week and different countries.

Gecko's Echo
Author: Lucy Rowland Illustrator: Natasha Rimmington
Great little rhyming book showing all about being brave. Lovely bright big pictures to compliment the story and encourage them to talk about whats happening within the story.

Oxford Reading Tree Songbirds Phonics: Level 1+: Mixed Pack of 6
Author: Julia Donaldson
We brought these as eldest had started to show an interest in reading for himself. Found these to be great books with simple words and clear pictures. Great information inside book to help parents get the most out of these books. Have already ordered the next set ready for when we need them.

The Lumberjack's Beard
Author: Duncan Beedie Illustrator: Duncan Beedie
It's always nice when you read a book and you don't mind reading it again straight away, lovely story of the lumberjack doing his job but helping out the animals along the way, also good at teaching about the environment. Great quality book with great pictures lovely hardback book and lovely large pages so lovely to hold. Defiently would recommend it to others.
