The Right One
Author: Violeta Noy Illustrator: Violeta Noy
This book had lovely eye-catching illustrations which made the story feel very lively and was the best part of the book.  I understand the moral of the story was that it is ok to be different but felt the storyline was a little to deep for the age group it was focused at and was rather repetitive.  I would not recommend this as a halloween story book.

Molly's Magic Wardrobe: Search for the Fairy Star
Authors: Adam Guillain , Charlotte Guillain Illustrator: Garry Parsons
We absolutely loved this book! It is written beautifully in rhyme and we particularly liked that all the characters were friendly although at first you wouldn't expect them to be. We loved swishing the wand along to the story too, it really brought the book to life. The illustrations were lovely and the story was the perfect length for a substantial bedtime read.

Jane Foster's Springtime
Author: Jane Foster Illustrator: Jane Foster
Perfect book for the easter bank holiday weekend! Simple picture book with the words under each beautiful spring time illustration. Its great for getting your little ones to recognise the picture and then learn to recognise the word below the picture.

Peppa Pig: I Love You, Mummy Pig
Authors: Ladybird , Peppa Pig
What a wonderful bedtime read for mothers day!  I read this to my son who is familiar with the Peppa pig characters, in the book the whole family relied on Mummy Pig to get the job done and fix problems as they arise. It was a perfect length detailed story with a beautiful glittery front cover and bright matching illustrations.  We found the whole book very engaging and have already read it again a few times since!

Firefly Home
Author: Jane Clarke Illustrator: Britta Teckentrup
We enjoyed this book greatly as it had a lovely story and beautiful illustrations to match. Florence the firefly was a charming character and it made a beautiful bedtime story as it was set in a starry night.
