Dork Diaries: Friendship Kit
Author: Rachel Renee Russell
My daughter absolutely loved this book. It's easy to read and came with friendship bracelet making kit, which made it more fun.

She can relate to the characters and the story is east to follow.

Bob and the River of Time
Author: James Garner
Really interesting, different book. We found it to be a perfect bedtime book, it encourages mindfulness and for the kids to take in the environment. Wonderful illustrations and packed full of info. Not the normal kids book. Try it!

Fantastic Mr Fox (Colour Edn)
Author: Roald Dahl Illustrator: Quentin Blake
Boggis, Bunce and Bean. One fat, one short, one lean! We loved reading this together and seeing how Fantastic Mr Fox outsmarted the farmers.
Characters are described in excellent detail and really help fuel the imagination and help you picture the scene in your head.
Plus the added bonus of Quentin Blakes illustrations. I have fond memories of reading this as a child and I have to say it hasn't aged a bit!
