Stay Strong! Mindful Kids: An Activity Book for Young People Who Are Experiencing Bullying
Author: Dr. Sharie Coombes Illustrator: Katie Abey
Lovely book - my daughter suffers with anxiety- this book has helped her to look at and understand feelings. She is due to attend some art therapy sessions and I’ll be mentioning the book to them

Topsy and Tim: Meet the Police
Author: Jean Adamson Illustrator: Belinda Worsley
We are Topsy and Tim fans and really enjoyed the book. The main plot is about the police visiting the school. They find out about the roles of police officers and even do some role play about stranger danger - which in turn gives you an opportunity to discuss this with your own child. There is also a part about a lost purse which they take to the police station - again teaching children about morals and the correct thing to do.

Topsy and Tim: Go on an Aeroplane
Author: Jean Adamson Illustrator: Belinda Worsley
We are a Topsy and Tim mad family! The books are great for helping to explain children about real life experiences. This one tells you about the family going on holiday, the plane ride, how sucking a sweet can help with ear pressure on the plane, the moving platforms you travel on. Great for preparing children for a flight or just another great Topsy and Tim story! The illustrations are lovely and show a nice amount of detail too.

Guess How Much I Love You
Author: Sam McBratney Illustrator: Anita Jeram
This is a lovely heart warning tale and the relationship between the two main characters. It’s a lovely story reassuring little nut brown  hare that he is loved and will always be loved - so touching I’ve even heard it as a reading at a wedding!

First Prize for the Worst Witch
Author: Jill Murphy
What a lovely book perfect to prepare for Halloween or a stepping stone into the wirld of Harry Potter! Beautifully written and easy to read by my 7 year old - she loved the book almost as much as I did as a child! Lovely hard back edition made it feel extra special!
