Guess How Much I Love You
Author: Sam McBratney Illustrator: Anita Jeram
I challenge anyone not to love this book.
Its simple message and beautiful illustrations make it a classic

Dogger
Author: Shirley Hughes
Another one of my favourite children authors.
Shirley Hughes just captures the joy of childhood and the illustrations that go with her books are lovely
Dogger is our family favourite. All my children have read it and now my eldest grandchild Ella Mae reads it to her sister and cousins.
Dave loses his favourite toy and this story shows how this affects him and how the family all help him to find Dogger!
Lots to talk about in the story
Highly recommended

Jolly Tall
Author: Jane Hissey Illustrator: Jane Hissey
One of the Jane hissey collection and features a giraffe Jolly Tall.
Its a wonderful tale of how the other toys welcome a new toy into their play room and the oldest toy Bramwell Brown knits him a scarf as a welcome gift.
Once again lovely story great pictures and one I love to read at bedtime to my grandchildren

Old Bear
Author: Jane Hissey Illustrator: Jane Hissey
This was one of the first Jane Hissey books i bought.
The illustrations are superb and the stories wonderful.
Set in a toy room the toys have adventures and help each other to solve problems and get out of trouble. Each of the toys has a character and the pictures to accompany the story are just gorgeous.
I have been a fan of Jane Hissey for 30 years and I am still reading her books to my grandchildren.
Highly recommended.

English - Handwriting Age 5-7
Author: Letts KS1
My granddaughter loved this book
The activities are short enough to keep her attention and she loved the subject of animals.
As a Toppsta giveaway she loved the certificate and took great care with the writing exercises.
It is a colourful and informative book and even I learned a few things whilst we were completing the activities.
Highly recommend and ideal for 5 - 7 yr olds
