Pirate Blunderbeard: Worst. Mission. Ever.
Author: Amy Sparkes Illustrator: Ben Cort
My seven year old enjoyed the date format and the decoration. The characters were nice and adventurous and he really engaged with the story. Redbeard and the chicken were his favourite characters. The chicken was fun and silly. He's enjoying the story so far and is looking forward to reading the rest.

A little disappointing that the pages are falling out so it won't be able to be re-read or passed down. His older brother was wanting to read it too.

Paddington 2: Sticker Activity Book: Movie Tie-in
Lots of pages and we liked the activities such as designing a tshirt and dot to dot, but the sticker pages were boring and didn't have a lot to do other than put a character in to the scene. The postcards at the back and the door hanger were well received though and I thought the book was good quality. Just a little bit boring, sorry!

Room on the Broom
Author: Julia Donaldson Illustrator: Axel Scheffler
As a parent it's really easy to read and doesn't take too long, so great for bed time. The children love the story of the different animals coming together and the repetition is fun for them to join in.
