The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents
Author: Terry Pratchett
Makes me so sad to know Sir Terry Pratchett no longer produces more amazing stories about the Discworld as his books are utterly amazing, captivating and hilarious.

I read this book together with our eldest, 7 year old as he's now old enough to enjoy the likes of Harry Potter on his own and Pratchett has been one of my favourites for decades.

The story is obviously funny, witty and has great characters. Quite a bit of puns that go past the children but what grownups find absolutely perfect.

My 7 year old loved the book and I have now pulled out my huge box of Discworld novels for him to start reading.

Author: Julia Donaldson Illustrator: Lydia Monks
Another captivating, intriguing and funny book by Julia Donaldson which we enjoyed so much that I've been requested to read the book several times now and my 4  year old can recite huge portions of the book.

Things You Never Knew About Santa Claus
Author: Giles Paley-Phillips Illustrator: Rowan Martin
Thoroughly enjoyed this book pre Christmas, kids found it very funny and we spent quite a while talking what they think Santa likes to do during his time off. Lighthearted and entertaining, definitely recommend for advent reading.
