Heather the Violet Fairy
Author: Daisy Meadows Illustrator: Georgie Ripper
This is the last in the rainbow fairy set of 7.  And the lovely story is resolved really nicely.  In simple terms, they all live happily ever after.  The fairies are reunited back in Fairy Land and even Jack Frost gets an invite to the ball.  Such a lovely set of books!  My daughter dress as Heather for World Book Day this year!

Izzy the Indigo Fairy
Author: Daisy Meadows
This book was particularly good because it refers to the Nutcracker ballet and all the characters end up visiting the Land of Sweets.  We saw the ballet at Christmas so my 6 year old early reader was really excited because she knew all about it.  As usual, the goblins try to cause trouble but this time the Sugarplum Fairy sorts them out.  Another really good read at a great level for my daughter.

Sky the Blue Fairy
Author: Daisy Meadows Illustrator: Georgie Ripper
Book 5 in the series.  This is just the right level for my 6 year old early reader.  And just the right sort of story too!  She loves nothing more than fairies, magic, bubbles, multicoloured crabs and everyone living happily ever after.  As usual the goblins try to cause trouble but the fairies always win in the end.  Another lovely book!

Fern the Green Fairy
Author: Daisy Meadows Illustrator: Georgie Ripper
The is the fourth book in the series and it is just as good as the rest.  My 6 year old early reader loves the little fairies and their two human friends.  She is a little scared of the goblins and Jack Frost but they don't hang around long.  This one includes some cute woodland animals too so the joy just gets better!  Oh to be 6 :)

Winnie the Pooh: The Best Bear in all the World
Authors: A. A. Milne , Kate Saunders , Brian Sibley , Paul Bright , Jeanne Willis
This is a lovely Pooh book and is really true to the original stories. Such clever writers to manage to develop the series without a hiccup. My daughter wouldn't notice this of course. To her, it's just a lovely Winnie the Pooh story that she really enjoyed listening to. It won't be long before she can read it to herself and it's  the sort of book that she would select for herself.  Thank you Toppsta for sharing it with us, we really enjoyed it.
