We're Going on a Bear Hunt
Author: Michael Rosen Illustrator: Helen Oxenbury
I liked reading this book to my daughter, it has repetitive verses so my daughter could remember bits and read along with me. The characters were friendly and were all in a family. It’s a book full of adventure and the pictures dipict this too.
My daughter and I loved this story and read it at least once a week before bed.

Alphabet Street
Author: Jonathan Emmett Illustrator: Ingela Peterson Arrhenius
My daughter and I loved the pop ups in the book, there’s a surprise behind each window. The characters are all animals which is a brilliant feature. The book has lovely rhymes and teaches children the alphabet. We both loved reading this together and my daughter was beaming with excitement. I would highly recommend this book.

Jingle Jangle Jungle Dominoes!
Illustrator: Axel Scheffler
I liked the rhymes in the book, very catching however some of the words were a bit big for my daughter (2). The characters were fun and friendly. They were of all different animals in the jungle. They also used poems to count up to 5 which was good. My daughter loves the book as it has bits she can push up and down on each page for the animals to move so it gets her involved too.
