When I found out that I had won a copy of this book to review I was so excited to read it as I have read all the other books in the series.
The main story is about two girls (Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong) who love to solve mysteries and have set up their own detective society.
The school is being run by Elizabeth Hurst (who is the head girl) and her friends, but at a firework display Elizabeth gets murdered and its up to the detective society to find out who has committed the crime.
It was so captivating, I just couldn't put the book down and when Elizabeth gets murdered I really wanted to know who had done it.
My favourite character was probably Hazel as I think she was really nice to her friends when they needed help most.
I give it five stars as it was so thrilling!

The story is about two  girls who love to solve mysteries and have set up their own detective society. I want to have a detective society now.
At bedtime I didn't want to put the book down as I wanted to find out who did the murder.
My mum said I should try the Nancy Drew series when I am a bit older.

As normal me and my mum took turns reading a chapter each of this book at bed time.  It was really good and my mum and me really enjoyed it.
Two girls set up a detective agency to work out what happened to the head girl Elizabeth.  Elizabeth was a bully but she was found dead at the school fireworks show.
I liked reading about a boarding school and I liked reading about the detecting.
I think that this book was really easy to understand and get into.  So it's really good for my age.

Another excellent addition to the excellent 'Murder Most Unladylike' series which centres around schoolgirl detectives, Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong.
In this instalment the new (and not entirely popular) Head Girl, Elizabeth, is found murdered after a firework display - but who could it have been?
There are many people with a reason to finish off Elizabeth, particularly those with a scandal to hide.
Love these books!  Happy reading :)
