Winnie the Pooh was my bedtime favourite for years. I was really excited when I received this book. I couldn't wait to read about new adventures of our well-known friends: Pooh, Rabbit, Owl, Tiger, Roo and Piglet.  It contains 4 new stories written by 4 different authors. My children's favourite story is Winter - I guess it's because Christmas time and they really wish to see the snow. Pooh's stories are timeless clasics and leave me in tears of laughter and nostalgia for childhood every time I read them to my girls. In this edition I like the fact that all characters are given a chance to shine.
It's an amazing quality product. The cover is stunning and the whole book includes a collection of amazing illustrations.
There are so many books about Winnie the Pooh available, but this one is really special - fresh and inspiring

My daughter loves Winnie the Pooh and we gave her this book for her 6th birthday. She was absolutely thrilled with it. She loves the illustrations and is looking forward to her special Daddy time when he reads her another chapter and they can bond together whilst relieving the adventures of our most favourite bear in all the world. We also love the map that came with the book and my daughter loves to look at the map and work out where Pooh Bear goes. A beautiful book all round.

This is a beautifully colour illustrated book, featuring all the well known characters (and of course Penguin) of Hundred Acre Wood. The four stories included in the edition, written by different authors, have the similar charm and soothing effect as the original ones. My six year old loves Winnie the Pooh. However, for a long time he has been just 'Winnie' for some reason. He thought Winnie the Pooh was funny because he was 'silly' and a bit 'slow' on the uptake. He rather liked Penguin in the 'Winter' story, especially when seen enjoying racing down the snowy hill with Piglet on his back. Great fun. It is perfect for an early evening read during the Winter months. (The first two stories were a bit long for our bedtime read.)

I read this book to my 2 small boys aged 5 and 3. They absolutely loved all 4 stories and it brought back all the Winnie the Pooh adventures I remembered from being small. They giggled and showed delight at every bed time knowing we would be reading more adventures with pooh.
Excellent book and I'm privileged to have won it in a toppers competition.

My daughter was delighted with this book. She recognised the characters from the originals and looked forward to it. Personally I thought this was very well made. The style and illustrations were a good reflection of the original and it was lovely to be able to share more tales of the hundred acres wood with my daughter. I think she's about the right age for this - old enough to cope with the length of the book (although we've only read some of the stories - it'll last us a while) but not too old to want something with more 'grit'.

Utterly charming book! When I received this book I was concerned it wouldn't have its 'Poohness' but I shouldn't have worried. Upon opening the book is full of the most gorgeous coloured illustrations, that allow your inner child to relax and unwind with the most delightful stories of Pooh bear and his friends. The book contains four stories, set amongst the four seasons in 100 acres wood, and have a delightful whimsical feel to them. Whilst reading them to my children I felt transported back to my childhood, and a real sense of nostalgia! My favourite was Winter, '...in which a penguin arrives in the forest'-a perfect story for this time of year. I would 100% recommend this book for children, and adults who want to continue Pooh bear's adventures!

This is acollection of 4 new stories written by 4 different authors, based on the original stories. I read this to my nearly 5 year old daughter. The stories are charming, staying almost true to the original format, but not quite as good as A.A.Milne, I don't think that would be possible. My daughter loved the tales and they were a good length for bedtime reading. The illustrations are lovely, not quite the same as the original but, keeping to them more than I expected. My daughter liked them, which is the most important thing.

This is a lovely Pooh book and is really true to the original stories. Such clever writers to manage to develop the series without a hiccup. My daughter wouldn't notice this of course. To her, it's just a lovely Winnie the Pooh story that she really enjoyed listening to. It won't be long before she can read it to herself and it's  the sort of book that she would select for herself.  Thank you Toppsta for sharing it with us, we really enjoyed it.

This book is so beautifully illustrated and written, yet it didn't quiet captivate me and my children as much as the original Winnie the Pooh does. It's has a more modern feel to it, rather than the classic Winnie the Pooh type of writing. This doesn't make this book any less brilliant as the classics but it just our preference. The stories are a lot easier for kids to follow.
