Toby Forward has worked as a teacher, a parish priest and a university chaplain. He is currently in Liverpool and has been working on the 2008 European Capital of Culture Year. He is married with two daughters. He is interested in theatre, folk music and architecture.

Illustrator : Steve Noon is an award-winning illustrator and artist, with more than 25 years experience in his field. As well as illustrating the first two editions of A Street Through Time , Steve has previously worked on a range of DK books, including A City Through Time, A Child Through Time , and Story of the Titan
