Created by award-winning, bestselling duo Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet, Snowball is a brilliantly funny picture book, with wonderfully comical images illustrating the hilarious rhyming story - perfect for Christmas! A lonely young snowball, stuck at the top of a mountain, decides to visit the local town for a bit of fun - but on his way he trips, falls, and starts to roll . . . and when a snowball rolls through snow, we all know what happens! This snowball picks up not only snow, but a myriad of other odd things on his way down - a sheep, a line of washing, a bicycling bear, ending up in the Zoo.

We love this book. Love Sue Hendra and Paul linnet books. My daughter was mesmerised by the snowball and when he gets bigger and bigger. A great tale about a little snowball that had an accident and ends up having an adventure on the way. The ending is so sweet. My daughter really enjoyed this, after the book she looked through the pictures and made up her own version of what she thought was happening. A great read.

This is a beautiful large hardback book, shiny and right in the middle of the front cover is a fun snowball character with a cute little bunny and robin. Very enticing for children.
Each large page has a short rhyming sentence or two. This is a laugh out loud funny book. Absolutely perfect for a Christmas book advent. Love it.
The snowball just keeps rolling and rolling down the hill collecting everything on its way. Sophie really loved laughing to this lovely book. The illustrations make this book. One snowball turns into many by the end. Brilliant fun. Highly recommend.

I chose this book because it was written by one of my favourite authors Sue Hendra. She writes the Supertato books which I love reading. In the story Snowball is the main character and he is on top of the mountain. He wants to go down and play but trips on the way. As he goes he gets bigger and bigger and picks up everything in his path. This is a very funny book with lots of animation style pictures and lots of rhyming sentences. I laughed my socks off reading this book and my whole family laughed too. I would give it 7 stars if I could!

Having read SuperTato, I had high hopes for this book and it did not disappoint. It’s a lovely story about a snowball rolling down a hill and what happens to him along the way. The illustrations really being the book to life. Perfect for this time of year. I would say it was more suited to 3+

This was a lovely rhyming storey book which I read to my 5 year old son. He really engaged with the story and tried to join in by rhyming the words. He found some parts funny and laughed out loud - especially the picture of the snowball wearing underpants!
The illustrations are lovely and add well to the story.
It is a lovely wintery story and is perfect to get you in the seasonal mood.
The story ends well with the snowball making friends and sent a nice message of friendship.
This is sure to be a winter favourite!

Hard back shiny book was a hit straight away. Fantastic illustrations and a lovely story about a adventure where having no one to play with finishes with new friends.
Really like the style of the book and the way it was set out. Lots to see and enjoy.

Superato and Cake are my daughters favourite books so we were both eager to read what Hendra and Linnet had come up with next and it definitely didn't disappoint! We follow a Snowballs journey down a hill with laugh out loud adventures, rhymes and wonderful accompanying illustrations. A new favourite and perfect for the festive season, we loved it.

Leo immediately noticed the shiny detailing and lettering on this beautiful hardback edition. Snowball is the latest character from Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet. He sets off down the hillside towards town when a pesky brown twig threatens to end the fun. Leo really enjoyed this rhyming snowy adventure story with funny illustrations and a surprise ending.
