A fantastic book with exactly the right message. Explores some characters with whom the child can easily connect. They encounter a real life problem and work to draw attention to it. The humans must then open their eyes and work to solve what they have caused. Best story we have read in a long time!

A fun story that had us both thinking of our impact on the environment and how we could cut down on our plastic waste.

Finn the Tiger shark gets ill from eating rubbish he finds in the sea, after a visit to the doctor he is well again but his friends band together to rid the ocean of the plastic waste so no other animals are hurt. The humans in the story are convinced to recycle the waste into new things.

We enjoyed the detailed pictures and the extra info at the end that gave a bit more insight into the plight of each type of animal in the story. We have already decided on some ways we can help and the reusable straws are in the post-no more plastic straws for us!
