This is a beautiful non-fiction book all about the life of bees - what they are, what they do and the impact of them on our lives. One of the (many) things that is great about this book is its size. Most non-fiction books are quite large, and the smaller size of this book makes it easy for smaller hands to hold. The graphics are simple and charming, and the text is broken down in to small sections using step by step text and arrows that make it very easy to follow the order of information.

Each page is laid out slightly differently, which kept my son engaged and interested throughout the book. There is a lot of information included and it is presented in a way that makes it easy to absorb. A few hours after reading I asked my son a few questions about bees, and he remember what he had read.

This is a great book that conveys the importance of bees, and provides a fun and accessible way to learn. Fantastic book, and one we would both highly recommend.

This is a bee-rilliant book all about bees.

This beautiful book is full of lovely illustrations and clear easy to read facts about bees and their importance and what we can do to protect them.

This book is a perfect introduction book to younger readers and was perfectly pitched for my 6 year old Son while still being suitable for older readers and even full of facts that I as an adult learned.  We read it cover to cover in one go and think we will refer to again and again.

In the book you will learn about different types of bees, what they do, why they are important and why they need our help and what we can do to help.

I would highly recommend this book for any child who has an interest in nature.

This is one of the first fact books I've read to my 5 year old and she was so engaged by this book that she took it into school and told her class all about bee's!  It's a beautiful hard backed book with nice thick quality pages displaying some lovely bright and engaging illustrations to accompany the plentiful facts on each page.  It's clearly broken up into sections, like chapters, so you can read it bit by bit to littler ones but I have no doubt we will revisit this book as my daughters grow and can take more information in.

All you need to learn about bee's and the environment in a beautiful book, I even learnt quite a bit reading this!

We read this book to my 4 year old daughter. As she is only 4, she couldn’t read it herself, but she really enjoyed the fun facts and lovely illustrations.
The book is fantastic for teaching children the importance of bees and gives examples of ways in which we can help them.
My little girl loved spotting objects on the pages and spent many a night looking through the pages on her own. It is much more than a fact book. It is fun and interesting to read and the illustrations are really fun and interesting.
All around thumbs up from us, and the book was enjoyed by my other children as well!
Excellent!

This is a lovely inviting colourful hardback book. Sophie picked it up straight away and read it to herself in jabber. She pointed out evening she knew. We then sat together and j read it to her in a simpler version, I love how this book will grow with us, will be useful for many years ahead. I loved learning from this book room we was going to build a big hotel a while ago but I was afraid if bees was attracted to it, but this book has given us the confidence to make a bee hotel! To look after these very important insects and not be afraid of them. I love this book and think it is brilliant for learning fun.

Wow what a fantastic fun informative book. My daughter and I have read this together a couple of times together now. It’s full of amazing facts about bees and what they do and why we need them. Ivy asked lots of questions and became really interested in the bees and we are planning on making the fantastic bee hotel from the book this weekend. This book is a super fun, colourful way to learn all about the wonderful honey bees and what an important part they play in life.

A fantastic non-fiction book all about bees. The illustrations and design are really inviting even to younger children. The book teaches you about different types of bees, pollination, honey, what would happen without bees and how we can help bees (amongst other things). The language is pitched just right (my son is almost 6), with plenty of things to give context, such as 88,500km is 1.5 times around the world. I hope the publishers use a similar format for other topics as it is such a beautiful and accessible book.

This book includes absolutely everything you could need to know about bees! But it's not a dry old text book, it's a lovely colourful book with an abundance of information presented in lots of different ways with beautiful illustrations. My three-year-old is very intested in nature and it was a fantastic stimulus for us to start talking about bees and how they live and what they do. We chose to look at random pages and discuss the things that we found and were inspired to go out and look for bees (none in the garden today!) It's a book that we can keep going back to as she gets older and begins to read independently. One thing we particularly liked was the focus on what we can do to help bees, rather than be afraid of them.
