If you thought you had read about the World's Worst Children already, you're in for a rather nasty shock. The beastly boys and gruesome girls in this book are even ruder, even more disgusting and WORSE than you could ever imagine!
This gorgeous hardback collection of ten stories from the master himself, David Walliams, will make you snort with laughter and thank your lucky stars that you don't know anyone like Gruesome Griselda or Fussy Frankie in real life. It also features a special appearance from fan-favourite Raj! Gloriously illustrated in full colour throughout by artistic genius Tony Ross, The World's Worst Children 2 is a side-splitting companion to David's blockbuster hit, The World's Worst Children, and the perfect gift for kids aged 9 and up.

The countdown was on. The date was on the calender. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book.  I thought the crazy characters that I had met in book one were funny and revolting . Book 2 was even better, more dsipicable, funny and more  cringe worthy then ever.  I just couldn't put this down and read it again .

My 7 year old niece absolutely loved this book, we really enjoyed reading it together and lots of laughing was had! She's read a couple of David Walliams books but she told me this was her favourite, and she loved all the different characters, it's got a collection of vignettes about some naughty children, silly children, stereotypes taken to extremes in disgusting tales of nits, dribble and bogies. Such an enjoyable read, She's now hoping for a 3rd book!

Sequels aren't normally as good as originals however, this one is an exception: it's a story of 10 children who have no manners (which is disgusting!), and don't listen to anyone.

Harry, is the boy who never did his homework, and therefore, we can relate to it very well! The fact that his new history teacher could give him nightmares about not doing his homework encouraged us to finish reading, do all of our homework and then continue reading.

I think that number 2 is much better than number 1 and it is one of my favourite books.   The characters are so funny and i love them and the story line to all the chapters are amazing!

It is another good book written by David Walliams. Meet the World's worst children through a collection of stories. The children in the stories get up to lots of naughty things. It is a fun book to read.

This book is as good as the first world's worst children.  I thought the stories were really funny my favourite was Cruel Clarissa as she isn't very nice but then gets eaten by bugs.  I really like the illustrations as well in the book.  This book is good for both boys and girls.

First, I loved that the illustrations were in colour. Usually a book looks exciting and colourful on the outside but is boring inside but this book has great illustrations. My favourite story was No, No, Noe. I think she was the nicest child out of them anyway. The absolute best thing about this book was that at the end it says he is working on a World's Worst Children 3!

Another great book from David Walliams. It made me giggle so much, my jaw ached !! My favourite character was No No Noe because she said no to everything, it was hard for her to stick to saying 'No'.
A book I will read again and again .

My daughter is an avid Walliums fan and she couldn't wait to read this book! She received it for her birthday and read it very quickly.

Her favourite story was fussy frankie, but she really didn't like cruel Clarissa at all - because she was cruel to animals and it upset her.

The book appeals because it's hardback and printed in colour.

Highly recommended.

I love DWs books!! I've read them all and even though this isn't really in the series it's probably still one of my favourites. It has 10 mini stories about children who are very big show-offs or something. My favourite was story NO:1 with the baby.

My son won this book and didn't know about it until he got it through the post and he couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear. He is a huge fan of David Walliams having read many of his other books.

We haven't read the first book but then again I don't think you need to as this book is based on 10 new characters. My son started reading this book last week and has already finished it as he loved reading all about the naughty children and all the things they do. My personal opinion is that this is a great book as it allows you to have conversations instigated by your children about what is good behavior and not so good behavior. Another winner in our house which I am sure he will read again and again.

This book is an amazing sequel to the first one. A story of 10 more horrible, repulsive children who have no manners, and don't listen to anyone. My favourite story is about Harry, the boy who never did his homework. I found it very interesting how his new history teacher could give him nightmares about not doing his homework. This book is jampacked with jokes, bound to make anyone laugh, despite their age.

This is one of the top ones on my David Walliams fav book list.  It is as good as the previous book and an enjoyable burst of imagination that you know has come from David Walliams's  head. It is simply wonderful and a joy to read.  My rating?  10'000 out of 10!

We should have really reviewed this book a lot earlier, as my son was pretty much glued to it as soon as it arrived through the post, and he'd read it in a couple of hours. He was totally absorbed by the book and found it very funny.

My son says about this book:

" I don't know how anybody could NOT like this book, it's brilliant! You've simply got to read Humbert the Hungry Baby and Spoiled Brad, those are my favorite Worst children"

My son keeps this book pride of place in his bookshelf, and I'm pretty sure he'll read it a second, third and forth time!

I am a David Walliams fan and this book did not disappoint me. The World's Worst Children 2 is a collection of funny stories for all ages. There are two books in the series but you don't have to read the first book first. You can also read chapter five before chapter two. As each is a stand alone story. I would recommend this book for younger readers (6-8 yr) but it's really entertaining for older readers too. People who enjoy reading comedies will love it. If you like Tom Gates and The Wimpy Kid books this book is for you. The illustrations were really good and I enjoyed the style of the text. The World's Worst Children is about some very peculiar, difficult and naughty children who get up to all sorts of mischief. Gruesome Grizelda likes nothing more then playing tricks on people with mini beasts and Humbert liked nothing more then eating EVERYTHING!! My favourite character was No,No,Noe because she never says YES! I think it would be quite fun to spend the day saying No!

I liked this book because of the bad guys. My favourite story was ' Harry, who never, ever did his homework'. I liked it because I could imagine the details. I also enjoyed 'Humbert the Hungry Baby'. It was funny seeing him eating the bus and police car.

Very Funny Book And Favourite Part Is Humbert The Hungry Baby As he Is Very Greedy But All Of It Is Very Funny And The Thing I Like About David Walliams Is That He Doesn't Write-In Proper English. I Would Recommend It To 5 - 12-year-olds.

A good sequel. In my opinion it isn't quite as funny as the first. My class think that they could be in the running to be one of the World's Worst Children  (their view... Not my own).
I particularly enjoyed 'No, No, Noe' the girl who only ever said, 'No' and I think I spied a look-a-like illustration to Simon Cowell too. Very cheeky.
Was pleased to see Raj appear too.
A brilliant read.

Giving this one a star cos our little one thought it was okay... Bought and given a few Walliams books at Christmas, we were looking forward to a laugh, but this particular title was hard to get through, though we did get to the end and now in recovery. We all gave it a go, and for the grown-ups it was no fun. And not because we have lost our sense of humour. Very drawn out, maybe much shorter stories that didn't wear out the comedy or ideas would have worked better. Love a bit of quirky mischievousness in characters but this was tiresome. The NOT NOT NOT story caused much anxiety to read, and has left me in particular in a sorry state... Sorry, David, I do not not not not not not not... like it. Hmmm.
