Albert Einstein + James Patterson = A Must Read!

'Any young readers out there interested in science and adventure...this book is brilliant!' Tim Peake

James Patterson has teamed up with the world's most famous genius to entertain and inspire a generation of children - with the first and only kids' book series officially approved by the Albert Einstein Archives.

Twelve-year-old orphan Max Einstein is not your typical genius. Max hacks the computer system at NYU in order to attend college courses (even though she hates tests), builds homemade inventions to help the homeless, and plays speed chess in the park. Her not-so-normal life is crazy but predictable until...

Max is recruited by a mysterious organisation! Their mission: solve some of the world's toughest problems using science. She's helped by a diverse group of young geniuses from around the globe as they invent new ways to power the farthest reaches of the planet. But that's only if the sinister outfit known only as The Corporation doesn't get to her first...

Max Einstein is a heroine for the modern age and will be looked up to by readers for generations to come.

I would like to recommend 'Max Einstein- The Genius Experiment' book to all my friends as this is very interesting book. I absolutely loved reading this book which is about Max Einstein who is very intelligent, brave and caring girl. She always tries to help people by solving their problems with her new ideas like generating power and electricity for needy children while taking care of environment. The author had lovely imagination. The Book is full of interesting science facts, experiments and beautiful illustrations. I am sure all kids would love reading this book and will learn a lot from this book.

This book is one of the most inspirational books that I have read. It's great that they've created a whole new character that enjoys subjects otherwise entirely dominated by men and made her just as smart, just as engaged, just as interesting.

I love Max Einstein with her passion and love of science, just like me. Max will be a great role model for young girls and boys alike. From the first page I was completely hooked and every page is even better than the last. I'm really thrilled to have been able to read this book so early because I felt an affinity with Max, as an intelligent and curious girl myself, I feel I have made a real 'friend' in this book.

There is more to this book than just getting girls interested in science, the story is actually quite gripping and it has some intense moments- which I really liked. It wasn't just a book about a girl who likes science but also the application of that science which was really great. Truly great book, I loved it and I hope there are many more. P.S if they eventually make a movie, i'm throwing my hat in now to play Max, I called it first!

I enjoyed every last word of this book. Max is a girl , she loves science, and oddly enough her last name is Einstein. She is an orphan, and she lives in a stable.
When she gets kicked out of the NYU (New York University) she gets adopted by the CMI . What will this lead her too?

My 8 year old read this book over a number of nights to himself.
He said it was awesome and had lots of twists and turns.
He said he really liked that Max liked all the same things he did Lego, inventing things and science.
I loved the fact that the lead character was a girl who is intelligent and interested in science.
This is a great inspirational story which I think is the beginning of a great series.

We loved this story - clearly the first in a series of books - which follows 12 year old genius Max Einstein.  She's ferociously bright and idolises her hero Albert Einstein.
She's "headhunted" into a competition to find the brightest of kids minds.   Whisked from a squat in New York to Jerusalem, where she meets her competitors (and soon to be friends).  Each has their own scientific speciality and they come from all corners of the globe.
They are soon called upon to solve the problem of providing electricity to a remote African village but face opposition from local warlords.
Meanwhile a shadowy organisation is trailing them - they want all of that intelligence to use for less altruistic purposes!
Scattered with fun illustrations and a great way of translating Einstein's theories into real life this book is fun for adults and kids alike

This wasn’t a book that I would normally pick up....but am I ever glad I did.
I loved it from start to finish and I read late into the night as I couldn’t put it down.  Finished it in one night.
Max is an incredible character, full of life, ideas and kindness.  She is the perfect new heroine for young girls to learn from.  She cares for those in her community, wants to solve world problems and still deals with common girl issues, like friends, bad hair days and boys!

She leads by example and gains the respect and trust from those around her, including the “growns”.  At first I wasn’t sure she could trust Charl and Isabl, or Mr Weinstock but you soon get caught up in the story and feel so pleased that she did trust them, and her trust was rewarded by the Chinese meal they bought for those living above the stables.

The adventures she goes on, tests she fails and the times of self doubt make this a girl to be admired. She rises above it all to prove herself to the world. Its lovely to read a book full of science, math, Einstein and solving world problems.  If only we could all be a bit more Max Einstein...we could make the world a better place!

My world is a better place for having met Max and I urge everyone to begin this series!

I can’t wait for the next instalment- I have so many questions!

I read this as a bedtime story to my 7 year old son. I don't think he followed the whole story, but I loved the strong female lead. I can't wait for my daughter to be old enough to enjoy this book too. We will definitely reread this in 12 months or so and look out for other books in the series.

My class absolutely loved this book.  The characters were engaging and the plot was exciting and interesting, and even as an adult I wanted to continue reading to see what would happen next. The science and environmental themes were a big hit with the children too.  I highly recommend this.

Max Einstein is a young orphan living with a friend in a stable. She doesn't know where she came from and with no memory of her parents she uses the only name she could ever remember 'Einstein' and funnily enough max LOVES science.
I loved this book! Its full of twists and turns and you never quite know what is going to happen.
A great read for people who loves science, secret agents or just an amazing book
My favourite character is Max as she is so brave, clever and is always there for her friends.
