'The Dork Diaries series is fast becoming my favourite for younger readers, and I really hope there are more dorky stories living in Rachel Renee Russell's head. I'm sure Nikki has many more embarrassing moments just waiting to happen, as well as lots of gossip to share about her crush on Brandon. More please!' Wondrous Reads Blog

I read this book in just an hour. It was so gripping and easy to read that I just couldn't put it down. Nikki spends a week at North Hampton Hills, the same school as her arch enemy Mackenzie Hollister. But Nikki has made a new enemy, the school snob and Queen Bee Tiffany is out to get Nikki, making her life miserable. With their new found friendship Nikki and Mackenzie seek to humiliate Tiffany, whilst Nikki also strives to save the Science Club that is a risk of falling pray to the selfies club. After saving the day, bonding with her crush Brandon and leaving the past behind her Nikki's life is just as dramatic and dorky as ever. A great read that I recommend to all.

As a fan of Dork Diaries, I was looking forward to reading this. After reading it I would say its my favourite Dork Dairies book. I loved this book and would strongly recommend it to readers between the ages on ten and fifteen, but you can really read this at any age. The book is written in a diary format, which makes it feel more personal. The way it is written is similar to the format of of Dairy of a Wimpy Kid. The book is well written and descriptive however my personal favourite character and the best written is Chloe who is a very bubbly and happy friend of Nikki's, and now while she didn't have a huge part in this book compared to other books in the series she's still a great and well written character. I cant wait to read the next book.

Rachel Renee Russell also announced a new book series called "The Misadventures Of Max Crumbly". A character who we first meet in this book.

The illustrations, the chatty style of writing, the fact it's a new Dork Diaries installment, what's not to like?! Which is exactly how my students felt...not all of them, to be fair the boys haven't shown a great deal of interest in the Dork Diaries series, but the presence of this new Dork Diaries did evoke a raucous squeal in the the library when it was revealed! Did it live up to the expectations? More than!!

I got this book to review a week ago, and I've read it in one week. It's a great book, and I really like these books. I've also read Max Crumbly too.  They are by the same author.  Dork diaries are books me and my friends like to read and I was excited to get to read the new book that had just come out.  Nikki has to go to another school for a week and has to make friends with MacKenzie who she doesn't like.  It must have been hard for her to make friends.  Tiffany is nasty to them so they try to sort her out as a team.  I thought the illustrations were amazing.  And I really liked the story.  I want to read more books by this author.  Thank you for letting me review the book.  I think girls aged 8-12 would like to read this book.  It's really really good!

I really like dork diaries and I think this is one of my favourite books in the series. I like that for the student exchange programme Nikki is forced to cope for a week with her nemesis Mackenzie Hollister. The upside is that Mackenzie’s school (North Hampton Hills) is like a luxury hotel. I like that a new character called Tiffany is introduced and that she is like Mackenzie but worse. I really enjoyed this and I would recommend to age 8 plus.

I thought the book was very good andi i cant wait for more. Nikki  (the dork)is sent to north hampton hills (nhh) private school as part of a student exchange programe. Mckenzie who is nikkis enemy recently transferred to that school. There is a girl called Tiffacy who is a selfie addict and she is really mean. I really like it that Nikki and Mckenzie end up frenemies to get back at Tiffany. I love these books.

Great book, content and cover design etc. My daughter just couldn't get into it, not sure what it was, maybe her age, she's only 7. She did enjoy the story and characters but it didn't grip her. I'm rating it 4* as what I read of it was really good, we'll keep it on the shelf until my daughter is a bit older. I'd still recommend it, but just to older children.
