Nibbles is a very naughty book monster - he's chomping, munching and nibbling his way through fairytales that don't belong to him! Can you help catch him and put him back in his own story?
Children will love to lift the flaps, peek through the peep holes, and chase Nibbles through a fantastical world of books, in this quirky story, exquisitely illustrated by Emma Yarlett ( My Daddy's Going Away and Bear's Big Bottom ). Jam-packed full of your kids' favourite fairy tales including Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Fun, brilliant and creative! This book has just gone into our top list of favourites! Everything was thought out in so many details, so wonderfully crafted and illustrated. We read this book initially as a family together and we had sooooo much fun! We were all laughing throughout the book and there are so many details that each time we read it we find other things to talk about.

It's different from any book I've seen before, Emma Yarlet has done something that I appreciate very much. She has been so creative bringing the story and the book monster to life. Also, in this world where everything is going digital, what she did shows us once again that physical books can give us so much more than what we get electronically.

My 4 year old thought this story was very funny. It's quite different to other books as it has stories within the book and flaps to let nibbles out to reek havoc. Lots of laughter as we saw what he got up to.

Such a fantastic book. The story is about a monster that loves to nibble and ends up nibbling through famous story books such as Little Red Riding Hood. There are lots of lift up/flaps/cut outs which makes reading this book a pleasure. The pics are great! The book is also a good size. And both my son and I enjoyed this book a lot.

This book is great, it's a fantastic sized book.
I love how it includes other tales inside the book too and twists them to make the story more fun.
It's really colourful and Isabella loves following nibbles through the book...she thought it was funny that nibbles had sneaked away at the end again. Naughty nibbles!!!

This is a fun book about a monster who keeps nibbling his way through books. There are lots of mini books within this one, and lots of things to spot out in the illustrations. I enjoyed reading this book and the kids loved pocking the holes, and seeing the links between the pages. Brilliant and highly recommended book.

Was so thrilled to finally get a copy of this book as I had heard good things, and we were not disappointed!  My daughter and I loved chasing naughty Nibbles through the mini books inside the story, and she was delighted at the end when he escaped from his cage!  A wonderful book and fantastically presented!

We loved this straight away! Didn't have time to read it with my son as soon as it arrived but he got stuck into it himself and I could hear him giggling away to himself. Watch out for Nibbles, who likes to eat books, with the consequence of changing the story... In the book he eats up various fairy tales (my son's favourite bit is the giant from Jack and the Beanstalk saying 'Fee fi fo bum, something bit my botty!'. The illustrations are beautiful and the construction is clever with plenty of holes from where Nibbles has nibbled. A great fun book.

Nibbles certainly is a cheeky monster...which my daughter loved!  Living up to his name he cannot resist munching through everything he sees and finds, even stories!  As Nibbles escapes the reader chases him through the book to discover stories within the story in their own little books, known, lovable fairytales...but with a difference as nibbling-Nibbles changes the outcome with his munching.

This is such a fun story and we loved the way the book is made up with flaps and smaller books within it...and especially being able to cage this little rascal of a monster.

This got my daughter giggling (and reading for herself...always a bonus!).  A fun, quirky book which will be read lots and given as a brilliant present for friends!

This book tells the story of a cheeky monster who likes to eat books and nibbles his way through some well known stories.  very colourful and interactive with flaps to lift and holes to peer through.  My 3.5yo enjoyed this and liked turning the pages and getting involved with the book.  I personally felt some of the pages were a little too 'busy' and it took a few reads to work out which bits to include when reading aloud, and which bits were part of the 'background' story.  Not a book I enjoyed but my daughter did which is the main thing - anything to get her to engage with books.  There were certainly lots of things to look fo and talk about on each page.

My daughter thought this book was very funny and laughed a lot. This cheeky boom monster loves to nibble his way from story to story.

Me on the other hand got very confused reading it, and kept getting my words in a muddle. That says more for me than the book.

If my daughter likes it then I'm happy. It's a very cute and interesting way to read/tell a story.
It's been read to my daughter twice now and she already knows parts of the story. Sounds like a winner to me

My 4 year old loves following Nibbles as he causes havoc in other people's stories, jumping through Goldilocks and the Three Bears, to Little Red Riding Hood, and finally ending up in Jack and the Beanstalk.  His favourite part is when the giant says Fee Fi Fo Bum, something bit my botty', and is often followed by some bottom shaking!

It's not as easy for my two year old to follow, as she is not as familar with the stories that Nibbles sneaks into, but she likes to look for Nibbles on each page, and put him back in his crate at the end.

Having read other reviews of this book I didn't enjoy reading it as much as I expected, and I try to avoid reading it at bedtime.
