The sparkling debut children's novel from David Walliams, number one bestseller and fastest growing children's author in the country.

Dennis was different.

Why was he different, you ask?

Well, a small clue might be in the title of this book...

Charming, surprising and hilarious - The Boy in the Dress is everything you would expect from the co-creator of Little Britain. David Walliams's beautiful first novel will touch the hearts (and funny bones) of children and adults alike.

Tom picked this book to read as he is football crazy so anything football related is a must for him.

He really enjoyed the story.

The story shows that its ok to be different, it doesnt make you a worse person.

It has recently been made in to a tv programme too and as been adapted well. It made Tom want to read the book again.

I loved how Denis was normal but one day he decided to act as a girl
This book shows that even if you are normal you can always be more

Wow just wow. From the gorgeous illustrations like Roald Dahl to the big characters all through the book. When you read it you can visualise it as if it was a tv show. So we’ll written, I hope I can make books like him one day!
