A great library find.
This is a brilliant story perfect for bedtime.
A family of bears are all tucked up in their beds but one of the younger bears hears a sound, a roaring sound. He becomes quite scared and thinks it could be a monster but his parents assure him that there aren't any monsters and "nothing can frighten a Bear." The night continues and they go on a hunt to see if they can find who made that sound but the ending is funny as they all realise that it's someone's snoring that is making that sound.
This is a lovely story that is perfect for reading aloud. It's a rhyming story and so cleverly written.
The illustrations are fun and detailed and it has darker tones reflecting that it is set at night and will be sure to get children ready for sleepy time.
A lovely, rhyming read with a brilliant funny ending.
