Dog On A Digger is a wonderful, wordless picture book, readers are drawn in to narrate. Dog is helping his master on the building site when his little friend goes missing. Plucky Dog takes charge and cleverly brings the digger to the rescue. A winning combination of charming animals and meticulously drawn machinery.

This was read to Pickles age 3.
I didn't think he would interact like he did. Once he started the story flowed.
It is lovely to hear him pointing out different things.

This lovely book is a great way to get your child's imagination flowing and thinking about storytelling as it has no words and you can make the story your own. The beautiful pictures sparked my Boys interest straight away and we all took turns to tell our take of the story, made for a really fun and relaxing afternoon. My 2 year old really enjoyed pointing out all the different things on the pages and my 5&6 year olds loved having their turn at being the Storyteller.

Wow the illustrations in this book are Amazing and beautifully drawn. My daughter enjoyed this book so much as she could make up what ever story she wanted too. She has a good imagination any way but love books like this which help them more.we will definitely love to read more of dogs adventures as they are beautiful books. Beautifully Illustrated book! Perfect for us with no words to follow as we can read the story as we wish. This was perfect as my other half works in construction and takes our dog too, so the story makes it feel it's all about our dog.

I must admit to being a fan of picture books for children and so was looking forward to getting my hands on this. The illustrations are superb and the gradual introduction of yellow and blue works well. There is so much on each page for you to talk about with younger children. Tommy loves pointing at things on the page and actually following the story whilst we discuss it. It has themes of family life and friendship, you can talk about being safe, helping others ... but basically it is a real 'feel good' book. I love the final illustration where he has his paw on the smaller dog's coat to keep him safe.

I must admit I wasn't sure if my little girl would enjoy this book and if she would be interested when she seen the illustrations, she is used to bright and colourful pictures with cute and quirky characters.
I was wrong ! I explained to her that there was no words and that we could look at the pictures and use our own words to tell the story. She really enjoyed getting involved and talking about Dog's adventure saving the puppy. A great way to get your children to talk about what they see and get involved; it definitely helped as the illustrations are fantastic with lots of detail to talk about.

A lovely book that encouraged my son to use his imagination and helped with story telling. Levi loved the pictures and being able to name the man and his dog.
It's great that the next time we read it , it can be a whole different story.

Such a beautifully illustrated book; I was blown away by the gorgeous drawings!  I enjoyed being able to tell the tale however we wanted, and I know in years to come my daughter will have so much fun using her imagination to tell the story!  A timeless classic.

I absolutely love wordless picture books and this one's a real beauty!  Stunning illustrations in a simple colour palette follow the story of our canine hero as he is adopted by a building site and soon proves that he is cleverer and braver than anyone could have imagined.  A really gripping story which encourages conversation and focus from readers of all ages.  My 3 year old enjoyed following the story through the pictures and commenting on what was happening.  My 7 year old added more of a narrative.

This is a lovely book. My 3 year old and I read it together and she really enjoyed it. The drawings are beautiful in black and white and with splashes of yellow to draw your attention to something. This was something my daughter picked up on really quickly and began to look for it on each page. The fact the story has no words is wonderful. My daughter really got into the story of what she thought was happening and her imagination really took off. Each time something different is happening and she notices other things. It is a great interactive book and gave us some lovely quality time togehter exploring the book.

I love the concept behind this book. I imagined that my children would tell me the story based on the pictures. However, this was not the case at all, which was disappointing.

My two year old just wanted to look at the pictures and didn't really tell much of the story, other than to point out that there was a dog. My 5 year old found the whole concept a bit dull and flicked through the book really quickly. I will try this book again with my two year old in a couple of months and I hope it works for us then.
