The laugh-out-loud Tom Gates is back in another brilliant instalment
of Liz Pichon's bestselling illustrated series.

Sometimes making up my mind isn't easy to do. Especially when my
grumpy sister Delia is LOOMING over me.

Mum's on a mission to TIDY UP the whole house. She says if I can't
decide what to get rid of, she'll do it for me. Which would be
a DISASTER!

Lucky for me, The FOSSILS come to my rescue (more than once!)

Fantastic Book my daughter and myself laughed nearly the whole way through it . It is fantastically written and the pictures are brilliant. Definitely hard to put down as there wasn't any chapters so found it hard to stop reading . Everything that was written is funny and the pages that you can draw things yourself is an excellent idea . The story line is again brilliant as it links together all different parts of his day . Will must definitely recommend to family & friends

Definitely a 5 star book. It is so funny the way that Tom doesn't get along with his big sister Delia. She torments him as she takes the cereal he wants before he can make a decision. There are lots of great pictures and I like to practise my doodles like the doodles in this book. It also shows you how to make a comic folder.  The characters are really well described.

I like it because Tom and his dad were doing something with the hosepipe. Tom accidentally did something that made it go in his dad's face!

I like this book because it has lots of pictures and is written like a diary.
The main character is Tom.
Amy is my favourite character because I think she's a bit like me.
In this book Tom's mum wants to sell things they don't need anymore.Tom doesn't know what cereal to eat and his annoying sister[Delia] eats it instead.

This book was so hotly anticipated in our house, it was lovely to see. It was the first time the boys have been aware of publishing dates and waiting for the next instalment of a series etc as they literally hounded me until it was out. (Then I made them wait until the upcoming birthday as I am cruel like that)
Another fun foray into Tom Gates world, both boys ( 8 & 6 ) love them, engage with the characters of Tom and his gang and unite against baddie sister Delilah. The doodles are excellent and the boys loved that you were 'allowed' (encouraged) to add your own scribblings and musings in this one.
Trickier to read aloud I find, and also difficult to end a reading session due to the chapterless style and the children wanting just one more page....
