This is the story of Mr Sneeze, who lives in Coldland, where everyone is always feeling cold, full of cold and sporting red noses. Mr Sneeze is always sneezing, until he goes for a walk out of Coldland and find the weather getting warmer and warmer until he stops sneezing. He meets a wizard who helps him bring some sun to Coldland. Mr Sneeze completes the magic and Coldland warms up and red noses are a thing of the past!

My son loves the abundance of "atishoo"s in this story; he laughs constantly. The illustrations are lovely and bright for the most part, though some are black and white, thanks to all the snow in Coldland. They do still keep my toddlers' attention though.

The text is fairly long in parts but short in others; so it's middle-of-the-road compared to other Mr Men books for reading time. It's actually quite a good one to choose if your child is feeling fidgety and joining in with the sneezes often keeps my children focused and amused. I particularly like the little puzzle at the end of the book to spot what's now different about Mr Sneeze and that it happened once before and challenges the child to find them. It's a nice interactive feature, especially towards to end when their attention may be waivering.

The size of the book is ideal for little hands to hold themselves and have them turning the pages for you.

As an adult reading the Mr Sneeze book I find it a little tedious but I'm totally trumped by my daughter who loves it. It's got quite a lot of text per page for a toddler book but we get through it quite quickly nonetheless and we both do lots of exaggerated sneezes along the way. It's all a bit silly as Mr Sneeze lives in Coldland where it's never sunny and ultimately a magician (or is he a wizard?) comes and sorts it out. A silly, fun story.
