This is one of my favourite Little Miss books - it has some of the best Mr Men lines ('Oh Calamity'!) and great actions you can do alongside it. My husband also sees a similarity between me and Little Miss Busy although I'm not so sure. I think all of this combined means my daughter and I both giggle quite a lot when reading it. A definite if you like the Little Miss series!

This charming story is the 19th in the Little Miss series. It tells the story of Little Miss Busy, who is only happy when she is hard at work. One day she is ill and is told by the doctor to have lots of rest. Her friends try - and fail - to make her feel better until Mr Nonsense gives her the great idea of going on holiday. When she's feeling better she gets to work planning and organising and shopping and packing... Little Miss Busy is happier than ever.

The illustrations are - as always - bright and eye-catching. They complement the accompanying text well; helping to provide meaning to the words we're reading. It's quite a quick read; only a few of the pages have a significant amount of text. Perfect for very little ones with poorer attention spans!

I'm quite fond of Little Miss Busy; she's a sweet little character. For all it's not a particularly interesting plot line my children really enjoy it - especially the cameos from the familiar Mr Men. This is one of the collection that we revisit a lot.
