This is another delightful story from Julia Donaldson. Both my boys loved the simple premise of a monkey looking for his mother and the humour of the kind hearted butterfly misdirecting the monkey to all the wrong animals. My youngest loves to join in and loves the rhyming language.

This book is another amazing tale by Julia Donaldson with fantastic illustrations by Axel Scheffler. Monkey has lost his mum in the jungle so butterfly decides to help him find her. Monkey starts to describe his mum but will butterfly be able to find the right animal from all the clues. We really loved this book. It has the usual rhyming text of a Julia Donaldson book and is a lovely story for little ones. We would definitely recommend it.

This is a must for every pre-school child. The story of lost little monkey that is trying to find its mummy and the animals that it meets on the way. It is beautfully illustrated and both my daughter and I love it - it's an opportunity to snuggle up and talk about how mummy is always there for their little ones.

This is another great rhyming story from the fantastic julia Donaldson.  Whilst not my favorite of her books it's still an enjoyable little story following monkey who is on a quest to find his mother.  Can butterfly help him? Well that all depends on whether monkey can accurately describe her. Follow their search and discover the other animals they meet along the way.
