NEW BOOK AND CD PACK - A hilarious and moving story of old age, adventure, stolen jewels and swimming the Thames, from Sport Relief star and all-round hero David Walliams.

"I absolutely love David Walliams's books. In a few more years they will become classics." - Sue Townsend, author of Adrian Mole

Our hero Ben is bored beyond belief after he is made to stay at his grandma's house. She's the boringest grandma ever: all she wants to do is to play Scrabble, and eat cabbage soup. But there are two things Ben doesn't know about his grandma.

1) She was once an international jewel thief.

2) All her life, she has been plotting to steal the crown jewels, and now she needs Ben's help...

David Walliams best book by far. The characters are well written and the plot is simple to keep you hooked but there are many twists and turns on the way. The noises and smells from Granny kept my son in hysterics throughout. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone beginning to venture into longer chapter books.

This has got to be our absolute favourite book, it is so funny from beginning to end with plot twists throughout.

The writing is brilliant it sucks you in and makes you not want to put the book down, the characters are well described without droning on and you really get a feel for their personalities.

I never expected the ending which is always the best way when it just creeps up on you, I wish my granny was so cool!

Laugh out loud from start to finish.
