I did worry that this book wouldn't be as exciting as previous Harry potter books. This is not the case. This book sees all the links from previous books tie in for a dramatic ending. I was disappointed only by one thing and that is that there are no more books :(

The darkest of all of the Harry Potter books - but definately the most gripping - we were all with Harry right through the series until the end! we have grown up knowing him and championing the underdog - my favourite part of this book is the battle - although full of sadness and loss (I shed some tears!) and shock at losing some main characters I loved the way everyone came together and fought  - good against evil. i feel like I know every character in the books and because of that you feel their emotions - a must read book and I certainly have - again and again and again and again and again and again!!

Upon finishing the final book, I was left with a slew of thoughts and emotions. But, one thought, above all, kept coming up again and again: “It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” Professor Albus Dumbledore uttered those wise words at the conclusion of Harry’s second year at Hogwarts. When I reflect on everything that occurs in the seventh book from the first to the last page, it is the essence of Dumbledore’s words that drive at why Harry Potter successfully completes his mission. The conclusion of Harry Potter's story is a masterfully told tale of love, loss, hope and the triumph of good over evil.
